It was 1995 when Ian Schrager and designer Philipe Starck created the first indoor outdoor lobby to Miami Beach. Blue Door was the center of the masterpiece that guided tourist, celebrities and locals to dine and entertain. Jennie Yip, the founder of Jenjuice Hospitality, was transferred from Schrager’s Royalton Hotel in Manhattan to join Delano’s opening team and launch its food & beverage department including Blue Door.
