In 2005, hotelier Ian Schrager approached JH to partner, develop and manage both Jade Bar and Rose Bar. Julian Schnabel’s interior design set the stage; together they made a bold impression on New York’s nightlife scene. The rich history of musicians who had stayed at The Gramercy inspired JH to curate the menu, build her team, instill a distinct service style and plan stellar events.
