The Mile High City has grown in the past 12 years from a University town with cheap eats on Federal Avenue to a playground full of excellent restaurants and neighborhoods. The food scene has piqued our interest with impressive food halls, retro diners, breweries, and farmer’s markets; there is something for all ages.
Some of our favorite food spots include The Source, a hotel and market hall in the Rino District (River North Arts District) of Denver, full of bars, galleries, music venues, and restaurants. Next, The Dairy Block, located downtown LoDo neighborhood, is a block-wide home to 20 restaurants, shops, a coworking space, and its boutique hotel, The Maven. We love chatting with the merchant owners, discovering their love of Denver, and sharing the best places to eat, sleep, and play in their backyard. Lastly, Union Station, walking distance from the Dairy Block, is another destination you won’t want to miss. The design of the interior station is a must-see in the 100-year-old landmark building full of restaurants, shops, and bars.
Here are our 2021 picks for eateries, restaurants, and places to discover in Denver.
