Set on the gold coast of Miami’s Art Deco district, Delano Hotel was re-born when hotelier Ian Schrager purchased the run-down building for $6 million, and had a vision with French interior designer Philippe Starck that transformed Miami Beach forever.
Jenjuice Hospitality founder, Jennie Yip, was transferred from NY’s Royalton Hotel to Miami Beach in 1995, to assist with the opening of the newly anticipated food and beverage program at the 235 room, Delano Hotel. As Food and Beverage Manager, she led a team of 150 employees from training to brand culture and management in all departments, two bars (Rose Bar & Beach Bar), a café (Eat-In Kitchen), a restaurant (Blue Door), Pool Dining, room service, meeting and event space, catering, and cafeteria.
Twenty-five years later, Delano Hotel continues to be the adult playground for the rich and famous and leads the design trends for years to come.
