BUCK15 Gallery Lounge

With a blank canvas of 800 sqft of storage space, owners Jennie Yip and Amir Ben-Zion envisioned an intimate bar and music venue in Miami Beach. With a meager budget, JH visited second-hand shops, estate sales and was invited to a pre-demolition party of the famous Art Deco penthouse once owned by Roy J. Carver. As the new homeowners were ready to renovate, they allowed us to take what we can, so their personal bar and brown wallpaper became the new BUCK15 bar.

We incorporated the owner’s love and collection of Japanese toys and art and created a retro lounge reminiscent of Toyko’s Shibuya district’s back streets.

After three months of opening, BUCK15 quickly developed a cult following that attracted PUMA to sponsor and collaborate on events and design the uniforms for the venue.
