Right in the heart of the Meatpacking District of Manhattan, JH and Jonathan Morr collaborated to create the best-hidden nightclub, APT, of that era, making it a pit stop along the West Side bar-hop that included Bungalow 8 and Lotus. With the 2-story warehouse, Interior designer India Mahdavi transformed the space into a loft studio, creating a fictional character name Bernard, a single man living in NYC as a writer and showcasing his apartment as a place to entertain his friends. Equipped with a kitchen by Chef Sonai El Nawal, multiple bars, dancefloor, and living room, the nightclub attracted chefs, actors, artists, and New Yorkers nightly.Today, APT is closed after thirteen years, yet paved the way for famous spinners of its time and created cult followings for resident DJs Bobbitto and Citizen Kane.
