BUCK15 GALLERY LOUNGE

With a blank canvas of 800 sqft of storage space, owners Jennie Yip and Amir Ben-Zion envisioned an intimate bar and music venue above Miami Beach. With a meager budget, JH visited second-hand shops, estate sales, and a pre-demolition party of the famous Art Deco penthouse once owned by Roy J. Carver. As the new homeowners were ready to renovate, they allowed the team to take what we could, so their bar and vintage brown wallpaper walled the space of the gallery lounge.

We incorporated the owner’s love and collection of Japanese toys, art and created a retro lounge reminiscent of back street bars in Toyko’s Shibuya district. After three months of opening, BUCK15 quickly developed a cult following that attracted PUMA to sponsor and collaborate on events and provide the uniforms for the venue.
