Right in the heart of the Meatpacking District of Manhattan, JH and Jonathan Morr collaborated to create the best-hidden nightclub, APT, of the early 2000s, making it a pit stop along with the West Side highway club scene.
The apartment loft, designed by India Mahdavi, was inspired by a fictitious character named Bernard, who “lived” and entertained in his home. Guest included chefs to David Bowie, Shawn Combs to the fashionistas of New York Fashion Week.
“If you’re able to find this unmarked hot spot and make it past the strict door staff, you will enter one of the coolest pseudo living spaces in the city. APT is the epitome of the New York lounge scene, stomping ground for world-renowned DJs and incurable scenesters alike. You might want to move right into this uber-trendy apartment, complete with both an upstairs lounge, downstairs club, and a DJ spinning phat house and nouveau beats.” –quoted by Clubplanet
